Welcome to Mangosaurus! This website is about insurance and machine learning in a Python environment. It is made for insurance experts who want to use Python for their data analysis and machine learning tools. This website has primarily a European Solvency 2 insurance perspective.

The word Mangosaurus was generated by a recurrent neural network that was trained with a list of dinosaur names. It comes from Andrew Ng’s excellent Deep learning course on Coursera. When the developers of the course ran the dinosaur names for some time their favorite name was the “great, undefeatable, and fierce: Mangosaurus”.
